A p p l y    L o c t i t e    2 6 2    t o    f i v e    b o l ts ( 2 6 ). Install   adapter   (27)   and   five   bolts ( 2 6 ). F i v e    b o l t s    ( 2 6 )    s h o u l d    be f i n g e r    t i g h t .    A d a p t e r    ( 2 7 )    s h o u ld move   freely. Insert alinement t o o l     t h r o u gh a d a p t e r    ( 2 7 )    i n t o    t r a n s m i s s i o n, shifting   adapter   (27)   as   necessary. Using   a   5/16”   socket   and   socket wrench   handle,   tighten   five b o l t s ( 2 6 )    t o    1 8    l b - f t    a n d    r e m o v e alinement    tool. Install   new   preformed   packing   (25), ground  driven  steering  pump  (24)  and two   bolts   (23).   Tighten   bolts   (23) t o    1 8    l b - f t . Install   new   preformed   packing   (22). Connect   tube   assembly   (21). U s i n g    a    5 / 8 ”    s o c k e t    a n d    s o c k et wrench   handle,   install   two flange halves   (20)   and   four   bolts   (19). Go  to  sheet  6 10-28
