Using needle nose pliers, remove
cotter pin (5), washer (6) and
pin
(7) on underside of rear axle of
v e h i c l e .
Using a 15/16” open end wrench,
loosen nut (10).
Using a 10” adjustable wrench, turn
clevis (9) clockwise as
required.
All slack must be removed from
linkage. Do not tighten clevis too
f a r o r l i n i n g s w i l l c o m e i n to
contact with brake drum.
Using a 15/16” open end wrench,
tighten nut (10).
Hold clevis (9)
while tightening nut (10).
I n s t a l l p i n ( 7 ) , w a s h e r ( 6 ) a nd
c o t t e r p i n ( 5 ).
Remove wheel block from front of
v e h i c l e .
S t a r t e n g i n e i n
o p e r a t o r ’s
compartment. Apply parking brake.
Place transmission directional lever
i n f o r w a r d p o s i t i o n .
Place
transmission range lever in 3rd gear
p o s i t i o n.
Fully accelerate engine.
I f v e h i c le
moves, readjust linkage or
replace
brake linings.
NOTE
Return M10A Forklift to original
equipment condition.
