Failure to do so could cause you to burn your hands. Get medical aid if you burn your hands. 34 Impeller a. Impeller cover (10) Heat To 200-250 degrees F cover b.  Retaining  ring  (12) Position In groove in impeller cover (10) c. Retaining washer (14) Install d.  Bearing  (13) Install While impeller cover (10) is hot, press bear- ing into position while spreading ears on retaining ring (12). Align ring groove in bearing with retaining ring (12) then re- lease retaining ring. Check retaining ring to be sure it is in full position in groove 4-148
