Wheels and frame Block To prevent rear chassis from moving or tipping when front chassis is removed b. Retaining ring (1) Remove Use snap ring pliers c. Upper pivot pin (2) Lift  and  remove If necessary, tap bottom of pivot pin using drift and hammer WARNING Front chassis and rear chassis are extremely heavy. Do not pro- ceed unless chassis are secured to prevent movement and tipping. Failure to do so could cause serious injury or death. d. Lock nut (3), two Loosen  and If necessary, tap top of pivot pin using washers (4), two remove drift and hammer spacers  (5),  and lower pivot pin (6) 3 Front chassis Front chassis Remove Pull from rear chassis 4 Rear  chassis a. Two pivot bearings (7) Remove b. Pivot bushing (8) Remove From lower pivot bearing (7) c. Two grease fittings (9) Loosen  and If  necessary  for  replacement remove CLEANING 5 Two pivot bearings (7) Clean Wipe with clean cloth only WARNING Dry cleaning solvent (P-D-680), used to clean parts is toxic and flammable. Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothes and don’t breathe vapors. Do not use near open flame or exces- sive heat and don’t smoke when using it. Failure to do so could cause serious injury. If you become dizzy while using cleaning solvent,  get  fresh  air  immediately,  and  get  medical  attention.  If contact with skin or clothes is made, flush with large amounts of water. If contact with eyes is made, wash eyes with water immedi- ately, and obtain medical aid immediately. 3-192
