This task covers oil filter replacement.

Remove
Use filter wrench; turn counterclockwise to
rear
remove

Oil filter
Install
Apply thin coat of clean oil to gasket of
rear
new oil filter. Install until gasket con-
tacts base, then turn one-half to three-
quarters of a turn to obtain proper seal.

Engine oil pan
Drain plug
Install
Tighten securely

Engine, right
a. Engine oil
Remove
side, rear
level dip-
stick
b. Engine oil
Fill
With engine oil (refer to current lubrication
fill
order). Start engine and run for several
minutes to charge lubrication system.
Check for oil leaks at oil filter base.
