STEP PROCEDURE/ACTION NORMAL IF INDICATION IF INDICATION INDICATION IS NORMAL IS  ABNORMAL 14 Place shift control lever in Forks shift Proceed to step 15 Check sideshift chains and pulleys for wear LEFT position until forks load to left or damage; replace as necessary (para 2-56e) are  at  extreme  left  position smoothly 15 Place lift control lever in Forks  rotate Proceed to step 18 Proceed to step 16 LOWER position until load clockwise is resting on ground. If above condition still exists, notify direct support main- tenance  (rotation  bearing  requires replacement) 19 Turn engine off and check – Operational  test hydraulic  reservoir  oil complete level;  add  hydraulic  oil if necessary (refer to current lubrication order) 2-395
