use tongs to handle impeller cover (10). Failure to do so could
cause you to burn your hands. Get medical aid if you burn your
hands.

a. Impeller cover (10)
To 200-250 degrees F
Position
In groove in impeller cover (10)

b. Retaining ring (12)
Install
c. Retaining washer (14)
Install
d. Bearing (13)
While impeller cover (10) is hot, press bear-
ing into position while spreading ears on
retaining ring (12). Align ring groove in
bearing with retaining ring (12) then re-
lease retaining ring. Check retaining
ring to be sure it is in full position in
groove
