Oil baffle
Install
Oil seal (26)
Install with lip of seal positioned as shown

Oil baffle (25)
Install
Apply a light coat of thread sealant to
outer diameter of oil baffle of counter
housing
bore in converter housing as shown. Im-
mediately remove any excess sealant that
could enter oil circuit. Position oil baffle
puller screw holes 15 to 30 degrees either
side of vertical center line. Tap baffle
(on outside diameter only) into position
until baffle shoulders in converter hous-
ing; see illustration below
