NOTES - CONTINUED:
4. STEERING WHEEL BEARINGS AND BULL GEARS.
Each 1000 hours or annually, remove wheels, clean and
inspect all parts, repack bearings and assemble. Fill bull
gear spaces to 3/4 height of teeth with GAA grease.
5. DRIVE AXLE AND DIFFEREN- TIAL. Check level
each 100 hours. Change gear lubricant each 1000 hours
or when contaminated by water, or other foreign material.
After refill, operate for five minutes, check for leaks and
bring oil level to level plug opening.
6. LUBRICANTS. The following is a list of lubricants
with  military symbols  and  applicable  specification
numbers.

Copy of this Lubrication Order will remain with the
equipment at all times, instructions contained herein are
